So dents have no chance!

So dents don’t stand a chance!

It is one of the unpleasant phenomena of aging: cellulite. At some point, the dents form on the thighs. Mostly this happens shortly after the 30th birthday. But what can be done against orange peel skin? There are many products in the drugstore that promise miracles. But they usually don’t do much good, and the creams are expensive to boot. But there is a simple remedy that works effectively against the dimples: a sea salt peeling. You can easily make it yourself. The cost is less than one euro.

Why does the peeling work?

To understand why the cure with sea salt works, we must first look at how cellulite is formed in the first place: After all, the dimples are not simply the result of sagging skin. Rather, they are a kind of disease of civilization. All day long we humans are surrounded by toxins, this cannot be avoided at all.

Harmful substances are deposited everywhere in the body, including under the skin. Here they cause inflammations, which weaken the tissue. Water can be deposited in these weak points. As a result, the dimples appear. Mere sport is not able to fight them. After all, the dimples have nothing to do with fat, but with water.

Success after only a few weeks

And this is where peeling comes into play. It counteracts this effect in three ways. First, the salt crystals themselves are very coarse-grained. This means that they remove dead skin cells and widen the pores. This is important so that the active ingredients from the salt can do their work. They have a disinfecting effect.

Thus, you effectively fight the inflammations that are to blame for the dimples. Surely you will not see any effect after the first application. But if you use the natural product regularly, you will see the first results after a few weeks. The inflammations heal, fresh tissue is formed – and the dimples are relieved.

Additional effect of the application

Rubbing with sea salt has a third effect: it stimulates the circulation in the treated areas. This means that for a while the blood flows faster here. In the process, it always takes unwanted substances with it and disposes of them. If you stimulate your blood circulation in this way, you effectively prevent cellulite. In this respect, the application is also suitable for people who do not yet suffer from the visible consequences of inflammation.

How to make the sea salt scrub

To make your own cosmetic product, you do not need much at all. In principle, it is enough to mix sea salt with a liquid. If you want it to help against cellulite, it is recommended to use buttermilk.

You will need the following ingredients for one application:

Peeling with sea salt, buttermilk, and olive oil

  • 1 Cup of sea salt, as coarse as possible
  • 3 Tablespoons of buttermilk
  • 1 Teaspoon of olive oil

Simply mix the three ingredients in a bowl and the scrub is ready for its first use. If you like, you can also add a few drops of essential oil. This will not affect the effect, but will provide an extremely pleasant scent.

Coffee peeling with vegetable oil

  • Mix some coffee grounds with vegetable oil.

Apply the paste to the affected areas and gently massage the skin with circular movements. You can take up to 20 minutes for this. Shower off the scrub and just pat the skin dry, leaving some oil behind. This is absorbed by the skin and provides additional care.

Peeling with sea salt, honey and milk

  • 2 Tablespoons of sea salt
  • 1 Tablespoon of natural honey
  • A little warm milk

Just mix the three ingredients in a bowl and the scrub is ready for the first application. Especially for pimples or a few days after a leg shave, the sweet scrub is particularly suitable, it has a cleansing and soothing effect on the skin. In addition, the honey has an anti-inflammatory effect.

How to use the natural product

The application is very easy. Take a small amount of sea salt scrub from the bowl and rub it on the affected areas of the body. Be very thorough when doing this. For about a minute, you should work on the areas with circular movements. Afterward, simply rinse off the mixture. Because it contains oil anyway, you do not need to apply cream to the skin. However, there is no harm in doing so. Especially if you tend to have sensitive skin, a dab of moisturizer is never wrong.

Conclusion

The unpleasant dimples of cellulite are a nuisance for many people. While expensive creams often have little effect, a homemade sea salt scrub offers an effective and inexpensive solution. The coarse-grained salt crystals remove dead skin cells, disinfect and fight inflammation responsible for the formation of dimples. Regular use leads to the first results after a few weeks, as the tissue regenerates and the inflammation subsides.

In addition, the peeling stimulates blood circulation, which removes unwanted substances. The homemade scrub is easily made with sea salt, buttermilk and olive oil. It is easy to use and requires only a gentle massage of the affected areas. For people who do not yet have visible signs of cellulite, the application is also suitable for prevention. With these natural ingredients and easy application, dimples don’t stand a chance!
