Peeling against pimples and blemished skin

Peeling against pimples do it yourself is a cheap alternative to expensive products from pharmacies and drugstores. You achieve the same results with the natural product from your own kitchen. Above all, you know exactly what you let to your skin. After all, industry products contain many substances that are harmful to health and the environment. Just think of microplastics, which have fallen into disrepute in recent years. The small particles are deposited in the sea and groundwater – and threaten the underwater world. So put your trust in nature. After all, DIY is easy.

1. Lemon salt peeling

The lemon-salt peeling has several effects against skin impurities. The salt alone performs two functions. First, the coarse grains ensure that dead skin flakes are removed, and the pores are opened. The minerals in the salt have an anti-inflammatory effect. So they relieve redness after the first application. The lemon takes on the excess oil. After all, pimples are usually the result of clogged sebaceous glands. The citric acid pulls the sebum out of the skin and ensures that the pimple slowly disappears.

To make the lemon salt scrub yourself, you will need the following ingredients:

– a teaspoonful of salt, preferably coarse sea salt
– a few squirts of freshly squeezed lemon juice

Put the two ingredients in a small bowl and stir until you have a pulpy mixture. Then, wet your face and rub the natural product in circular motions. In order for the ingredients to take full effect, you should massage in circular motions for about a minute. After the treatment, rinse the mixture off your face. Again, you need to use caution here. After all, the salt can sting your eyes uncomfortably. After the treatment, simply dab your skin with cosmetic tissues. Afterward, you can apply your usual skin care cream. Be aware that the lemon juice dries out the skin. In this respect, you should choose a moisturizing cream if possible.

2. Baking powder peeling

Baking soda not only makes the cake rise during baking. It also contains baking soda. This is a substance whose cosmetic effect is all too often underestimated. It is capable of counteracting hyperacidity of the skin. This hyperacidity is responsible for the formation of red pustules, especially in women over 30. But soda can do even more: it pulls waste products and toxins from the skin.

To make The Baking Powder Scrub yourself, you will need the following ingredients:

– a packet of baking soda
– a few spoons of lukewarm water

Put the baking soda in a bowl and add the first two spoons of water. Mix these two ingredients until a thick paste is formed. If the mixture is too dry, just add a little more water.

It is better not to use this mixture with bare hands. It is better to put it on a damp cotton pad. With its help, massage the baking soda scrub into the skin in circular motions. Cover the entire face with the mixture. Once this is done, you have time to relax. Leave the baking soda on for about three minutes. This way, you ensure that the baking soda can do its job.

Then, carefully rinse the mixture off again. Be sure to be gentle when doing so. After the treatment, you should apply a moisturizer, because the baking soda will extract quite a bit of moisture from your skin.

3. Sugar scrub

Sugar scrubs are heavy right now. You can find expensive little jars labeled “Sugar Scrubs” in stores. They contain nothing but a mixture of fruit, sugar, and fragrances. So you can easily make them yourself. The effect will really convince them. The sugar opens the pores and removes excess skin flakes. Thus, it clears the way for the valuable remaining ingredients. If you suffer from pimples, natural yogurt is recommended. It is able to suck excess fat from the skin. It also has an anti-inflammatory effect and ensures that annoying redness disappears.

You will need the following ingredients to make your own sugar scrub:

– two tablespoons of sugar
– one teaspoon of natural yogurt

Put the two ingredients in a bowl and mix them. This will create a very sticky mass. It is better to use this in the shower, so the bathroom stays nice and clean. Massage the mixture thoroughly with circular movements. You should take about a minute to do this. In this way, you ensure that the ingredients can really work. Afterward you should rinse the mixture thoroughly with lukewarm water.

After the application, it is recommended to apply a moisturizer. After all, the yogurt has dried out the skin a bit.

Pay attention to the ingredients

Making scrubs yourself is a cheap alternative to expensive products from the drugstore. However, they should not be stingy when buying the ingredients. A scrub is applied very thoroughly. This means that the ingredients can develop their effect particularly well. This does not only apply to the desired effects. Harmful substances can also penetrate particularly deeply into the skin. This must be prevented.

So reach for high-quality products. It is best to choose organic quality. Here, seals guarantee that no or hardly any harmful ingredients are contained. You should also take a look at the list of ingredients in baking powder. Essentially, it should only contain baking soda. Sometimes there are also some E-numbers on the back of the sachets. In that case, it’s better to keep your hands off it.
